Well parents the last blog for the year. Thanks Eliana for your hard work and caring for the children over term 4.
Please keep reading with your child over the holidays talking about and enjoying the stories. Finding opportunities to read and see how numbers work in everyday life would also be good for your child as they head into Year 1 or 2 next year.
Thanks parents for your support over the 6 to 9 months I taught your child before my accident. You are a lovely group of parents and I wish you and the children a merry and blessed Christmas.
What's On
It’s a short last week of school, but with lots of things happening again.
Monday:
Portfolios & Reports - Your child will bring their portfolio home tomorrow (Monday) if they didn’t take it home on Friday.
Inside the last page of the portfolio is your child’s report with their placement for next year.
The children will get to meet their new teacher and the other children in their class during school on Monday. Exciting!!!
Tuesday:
Junior picnic- swimming, outside games, shared lunch and a DVD.
Children come to school dressed in mufti with sun hats.
Please put sunblock on your child before they come to school.
We will spend all morning outside doing different activities.
Then our class will have a shared lunch. All family members are welcome to attend this.
In the afternoon it's time to relax in our classes.
Children need to bring:
· Togs, towel, plastic bag
· Sunhat
· A small plate of food for our shared lunch
Wednesday:
Prizegiving at 9am
If your child is receiving a prize, there is a pink slip in their report envelope.
There are 2 awards for Achievement, 2 awards for Diligence, and 1 award for Displaying the values of Christ. Susan has selected these deserving students.
End of year school Mass at 5:30pm.
We are all expected to attend this.
Please meet me in Room 9 at 5:15 pm so we can be seated by 5:30 p.m.
