Welcome parents to week 2.
We started to think and talk about God's creation last week. The children had a fun afternoon painting, drawing and making parts of creation out of play dough. Under the 'sharing' page above are some photos of the children.
What's On
Monday: No school as it is Anzac Day
Tuesday: Anzac Day liturgy in the hall at 10:00 am.
Friday: For golden time we will be making marshmallow structures. Would you please supply your child with some smaller and larger marshmallows and tooth picks. Thanks

Reading
During reading conversations with the children I have reminded them that looking at pictures and thinking about what has just happened in the story is vital if they are to read for meaning.
I have also found that having another try and running their finger along a tricky word helps their eyes to run along the word and put the sounds together.

Mathematics
Please keep taking opportunities to count with your child up and down from different numbers.
Have a great week parents.
